thanks uncle derrick!

DG got me some frosting covered bone treats, so this is a picture of me eating one of them. They make a big mess, with lots of crumbs everywhere, but I get all the crumbs.

time to hit the shower!

After dad works out, sometimes I sneak up on him to lick the sweat off his face. I love it, and he giggles, because it apparently tickles him. It's good quality weekend time for both of us. :)

nap time

I've figured out how to use my plush Mickey Mouse toy as a pillow when it's nap time. It's the white thing in the right of this picture.

new toy

Mom and dad got me this new toy on Sunday evening. I've thoroughly destroyed it in a matter of a couple days. So much for it being a "hard core" toy. Dad says this is why he doesn't like to keep getting me new toys. I think he's jealous and he wants a new toy. Maybe a big tennis ball?

another wet puppy photo

It turns out it was a good thing I got a bath yesterday, since there was a fire alarm, so I had to evacuate with mom. I barked a bit when the alarm first went off since it was so noisy, but mom got us out really quickly. Then I just got to play with all the students and do my tricks for them. They probably wouldn't have been as friendly if I smelled....

high performance bath time :(

I hadn't had a bath in awhile, and mom and dad said I smelled. I don't care, they let me off leash on our walk on Saturday and I ran around in the park getting even smellier! I knew I was done for when they got out my green accenture towel, since it means I'm going to get a high-performance bath. The look on my face tells how I feel about bathes.

what big teeth I have!

Here's another shot of me chewing on a big rawhide. It shows my bottom teeth pretty well, which are handy for chewing my toys into lots of pieces. At least I don't chew on things I'm not supposed to. While I'm cute, I know I would be in a ton of trouble if I chewed on any furniture or mom's shoes, and I'm not cute enough to get out of that kind of trouble.

is it really my egg then?

Mom and dad also made me this egg that has my name on it, so I thought it was mine, but they wouldn't let me do much more than sniff it. Couldn't lick it, couldn't chew on it, certainly couldn't eat it. Hmph.

Happy Easter

Mom and dad spent awhile last night decorating what they called Easter eggs. They wouldn't let me get too close, but I was quite intrigued by the whole thing. They were very colorful, and mom made one look like my tennis ball.

blast from the past, part 2

Here's another picture from when I was first born. I was so little and am so much bigger and stronger now! May have to have a weigh in tonight to see just how much bigger I have gotten.....

blast from the past

To encourage everyone to vote on my poll about what to do for my first birthday, I am posting a photo from when I was brand new to the world and played with my brothers and sisters. I am the second from the left. They were way more active than me and kind of rough, but mom and dad have built up my courage, so I think I could rough-house with them now!

pretty good weekend

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit yesterday! They played with me quite a bit, and that was after dad took me on a long walk yesterday morning. Today, I went to all day dog play at the wag hotel, and they ranked my energy as medium level. I was tired from yesterday, since normally my energy is "off the charts!"

bob-a-lot "toy"

Mom went on the manufacturer's webpage for my new bob-a-lot "toy" that I have to work to get my food. It has a 3-page PDF about how to use it. I don't need to read 3 pages to know it means I have to work for my food, but if you want, the file is available at: http://aboutdogtraining.sitestreet.com/UserFiles/File/product%20guides/Bob-A-Lot2.pdf

will work for food

Mom and dad got me this new "toy" where they put my food in the top yellow part, and I have to nudge the toy around a bunch to get it to fall out of a hole in the bottom, purple part. It takes about 20 minutes for me to get a 1/4 cup of food. When it gets towards the end, and I get frustrated, I just try chewing through the plastic. Mom says I have the "toy" because I'm too smart and so I need something to focus my energy on. I say, hmph, apparently I will work for food.

puppy worries

When's my next walk? Will I play with other dogs today? Which toys will mom pull out of the toy box for me? How many hours will I get to nap this afternoon? When do I get to go to camp next? In any case, this picture was another from our weekend walk to the wharf when I was worried, because dad went into a shop and I didn't know when he'd come out!
