SQL? Squirrel?!

And dad also tried to teach me this computer thing called SQL, which to me sounds like squirrel, and I like squirrels. He kept saying, "so you see buddy. This is how you do nested joins in SQL." Whatever. I can barely remember sit, down, stay, and come here!

envelopes to chew

Since it was dad's birthday on Sunday, I got to chew all the wrapping paper and envelopes! Mom said I made a big mess, but dad mostly picked it all up after me, since he was the one that give it all to me to chew.

Mohawk, baby!

When I got my hair cut, mom had the groomer give me a mohawk, take a picture, and then shave it off. I think it looks pretty good, and next time I should just get a mohawk for real! PS: the green eye is the dog equivalent of red eye.

getting shaggy

Mom and dad say I am getting shaggy and need a haircut. At least I like the nice people on Union Street that groom me. I get to go on Friday, so that I look nice for dad's birthday on Sunday.

half birthday

Since Tuesday was my 6-month birthday, mom got out my squirrel toy. It has a squeaker in the body part, which is good since I broke the squeaker in the tail the first night I had it. I haven't gotten to play with it in awhile, even though it's one of my favorite toys.

barking

In case it's too blurry, it says "I had my own blog for awhile, but I decided to go back to just pointless, incessant barking." Yay for pointless, incessant barking!

getting "fixed"?!

I'm not really sure what happened, but I stayed at the vet over the weekend, and while I was there, they did more surgery, put a cone back on me, and now I feel like less of a man. Mom calls it getting me "fixed" but I don't know what needed fixing. I am doing ok with the cone now, having spent so much time with it over recent months, but anytime I start to lick myself, mom gives me something to distract me.

hiding spot

Sometimes when I'm feeling goofy, I hide in between the couch and the sofa chair where it's hard for anyone to reach me. I also sometimes hide my toys there. It's like my own private cubby hole, but I can still be near mom and dad in the living room.

my first report card

Mom and dad left me alone for my first time today at the Wag Hotel. I got a large room for the day, and they gave me my first swimming lesson and then a bath. My report card from the day shows that I was well behaved, not at all stressed by being away from mom and dad, and I ate so much I could have eaten a truck! Overall, it was a pretty fun day for me, even if I didn't get the blueberry facial.
