ice water

Mom and dad have been runnning a lot recently, and after their last long run, Dad put his feet in this big pan of ice water. I was sure it was for me, so I drank a lot of the water, which was nice on such a hot day. Dad kept saying I was in his way, but really, I found it rude that he put his feet in my water!!

cake time

After what seemed like forever, mom let me have half my birthday cake tonight. It took me awhile to figure out how to eat the cake at first, and mom had to help hold it still since the cake slid around on the floor otherwise.

...nearly killed me. Mom made me wait a moment before I ate my birthday cake!
