105 degrees!

Since it was 105 degrees today at camp, when we went on our walk, grandma and grandpa were sure to give me lots of water straight out of the water bottle. After that, they did lots of construction work out back, including with a noisy roto-hammer and air compressor, but I did a good job supervising the work. As a reward, I got some ice cream, which was pretty cold, but exciting. I hope I get more!

what's happening to the world?

Not only is it supposed to be 100 degrees this weekend (I didn't know it gets that hot in the world!), but when we were going to bed at camp last night, the sky started falling. Ok, grandma and grandpa told me it was the skylight opening, but it scared me, so I barked a lot at it. I'll try to post some pictures in the next few days.

I love camp!

On our camp field trip today, I was allowed to carry this pinecone for a mile, and that was after grandpa gave me some of his maple bar for breakfast. Plus, later in the day when he was cooking, I got some cheese, salami, and tomato. I love camp! I've been so good that when grandma and grandpa leave for errands, I don't get put in the bedroom, I get to roam around the house. I could get used to this.

Walk the plank!

Another part of a typical camp day is pretending you are a pirate when you walk the plank. Argh, matey! I'm not very good at pretending I'm a mean pirate dog, but I walk the plank over the ditch in the yard pretty well.

playing in sprinklers

While mom and dad have been getting snow, hail, and rain on their trip, since it's been 97 degrees at camp, I'm allowed to play in the sprinklers. It's pretty fun, and a good way to cool off.
